Microfibre cloths

Traditional microfibre cloths are comprised of fibres with a fibre thickness of less than 1 dtex(1g/10,000m) or 1 Denier (1g/9,000m). The fineness of these fibres improve cleaning performance through:

Microfilament cloths

Evolon 170 is a next generation microfibre cloth manufactured from microfilaments measuring 0.15 dtex (over 6 times finer than existing microfbres). Microfilaments are created when bi-component fibres (2.4 dtex) are further split and entangled through high pressure water jets.

No requirement for laundry, environmental benefits

Evolon 170 is unique as it does not require laundry as the microfilaments release high levels of dirt and grease through wringing alone making Evolon 170 ideal for use in areas without laundry facilities. No solvents are used in the production or binding of microfilaments and all water used during the entanglement process is recycled within the factory. Evolon 170 is PVC-free and certified to ISO 14001.
